Privacy Policy

SiteGuard Systems (ABN 36 765 797 871, a business name of Daniel Silver) ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information through siteguardsystems.com.au, siteguardforms.com.au and the SiteGuard FORMS app. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
1. What we collect
- Contact details: name, business name, ABN, email, phone and business address, given when you enquire, order or open an account.
- Order and billing records: what you bought, when and for how much. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we don't receive or store full card numbers.
- Project information you enter in the app: project names, addresses, and the names and roles of people you add to documents (for example supervisors or workers who sign on).
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, and pages visited, collected by our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) and server logs, for security and to keep the sites working. We don't use analytics or advertising tools on our sites.
2. Why we collect it
To answer enquiries; process and deliver orders; manage subscriptions and send revised documents after each 6-monthly review; provide the app; send tax invoices and account notices; keep our systems secure; and meet our legal obligations. We send marketing emails only if you agree, and every one includes an unsubscribe link.
3. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as much as they need:

We don't sell personal information. We may disclose information where the law requires it.
4. Overseas disclosure
Some providers store or process information outside Australia, mainly in the USA. We take reasonable steps to make sure they handle it consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
5. AI assistance
When you use the app's drafting assistance, the text you enter for that task is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate a draft. A person on our team reviews AI-assisted product content before we issue it. We don't use your information to train AI models, and our provider's commercial terms do not permit it to train its models on the information we send.
6. Security and retention
We store information on secured systems with access controls and encrypted connections, and keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires (for example, tax records for 5 years).
7. Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@siteguardsystems.com.au. If you have a privacy complaint, contact us first and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
8. Changes
We may update this policy and will publish the current version on our websites.
